It all began when Rosie Haas, owner of Natural Neighborhood (a natural products retail company), received numerous requests from parent-teacher organizations to make items from the Natural Neighborhood catalogue available for the purpose of fundraising. 

She responded by putting together a line of everyday essentials made by small, socially responsible companies that adhere to the strictest standards of purity and quality—products for fundraising that anyone would be proud to represent and use! 

Rosie then teamed up with Marc Latzky, owner of Virtual Solutions - EZ-Hosts of Vermont - a company that provides web site hosting, design and ecommerce solutions and computer training. Marc resides on an old farm where the last remaining Ripley raspberries are grown and harvested by local food artisans.
